Menlo Park sits at the southern most end of San Mateo County along the Mid-Peninsula. It’s almost the exact midway point between San Francisco and San Jose. The community has a host of venture capitalists and startups that keep the economy moving.
There’s a wide variety of shopping from Safeway to Trader Joe’s. They also have some quaint independent stores like Cheeky Monkey for kids games and toys. Well worth a walk downtown on Santa Cruz Ave.

The Menlo Park City School District is a public school district in the San Francisco Bay Area, primarily serving the communities of Menlo Park and Atherton. Through the Tinsley Voluntary Transfer Program the district allows students from Redwood City, East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park to attend MPCSD schools.
There are a number of private schools like Trinity School and Alto International School which is the only IB (International Baccalaureate) program with a full diploma program through high school
